Compton Primary
School opened in
1863 and is a small school situated 5kms west of
Mount
Gambier. The school is a caring and supportive learning
community with a strong commitment to providing high
quality education for students from Reception
to year 7.
Compton Primary
School offers a
broad and balanced curriculum with a wide variety of
extra balanced curriculum programs. There is a strong
focus on literacy, numeracy and specific targeted
intervention programs are in place to support students
to maximise their confidence and learning growth.

Compton Primary School has the
services of a Christian Pastoral Support worker. She
works with the school to promote the well-being of the
staff, students and parents.
